Lisa Needham, AYT, E-RYT 500
Founder and Director of Park City Yoga Studio, Lisa Needham has been a respected teacher of Hatha Yoga since 1984. Her unique style of teaching incorporates an eclectic blend of many different styles of yoga. With an emphasis on the bio-mechanical principals of alignment, yoga therapy, mindful breath work and inner body awareness, Lisa has great respect for individual strengths and challenges and her extensive understanding of yoga allows her to present a powerful yet gentle and compassionate style, which is popular with students of all levels.
Along with receiving her Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy certification through the California College of Ayurveda, studying at Integrative Yoga Therapy and being a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists, Lisa is registered at the highest level with the national Yoga Alliance. She has also worked with the US Ski and Snowboarding teams providing yoga as a complimentary training technique.
Lisa gratfully acknowledges all of her teachers and students as inspiring and compelling influences in both her teaching and lifestyle. Her passion lies in educating and empowering students of all walks of life with tools to change and improve their health and wellbeing.

Sally Vollbrecht, Studio Manager
Sally was introduced to yoga at a very young age and finally followed her passion to teach in 2006. She attended a 285 hr teacher training between Castle Rock and Pike National Forest in CO. Since then, she has been influenced by numerous teachers and has taught a wide range of populations. She is currently on the path to receiving her Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy certification through the California College of Ayurveda. Sally creates a safe environment for her students’ self exploration and guides them to focus their attention inward. She encourages her students to walk more deliberately from their mats into daily life with a feeling of peace and connectedness .
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Colie Belieu is now based in Park City, Utah. She has been practicing yoga for five years and teaching for the last three. Colie has completed a 200 hour Vinyasa training, an 85 hour Prenatal training, as well as several yoga workshops and continuing education trainings. Colie’s passion lies in providing a healing, empowering and sacred space for all beings to develop their own physical, mental and spiritual practice.
Colie enjoys spending most her free time outdoors with her loving boyfriend, hiking, biking, running, skiing, swimming, practicing yoga, gardening, and reading.
Rebecca Brenner is an author, teacher, speaker, and practitioner of the integrative healing arts. she holds a Ph. D. in nutrition and is a certified yoga and meditation teacher through the Himalayan Institute of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers. She leads popu;lar wellness, yoga, and mindfulness classes in Park City, UT and is the author of the preteen series The Kid's User Guide to a Human Life. A mother of two girls, she is passionate about sharing how to live a heathy human life with just about anyone who will listen.
While pursuing her Masters in Health Promotion and Education at the University of Utah, Caitlin also teaches seminars on Mindfulness and Resiliency for undergraduate students at the U. Caitlin began her career in integrative health while living in Vietnam where she managed a holistic healing center. She spent a year teaching meditation and training to become a Reiki Master. She then traveled to India, where she completed her yoga teacher training. She spends her free-time outdoors, enjoying the scenic hikes of Utah, and of course, traveling when she can.
Susan's yoga studies began 10 years ago while taking an intense stress reduction workshop based on the studies of Jon Kabat-Zinn. Here she learned meditation, body scans, and simple yoga. Following this she expanded to classes in Hatha yoga, Tibetan Heart Yoga and Anusara yoga. The main emphasis in her classes is on proper alignment and working all the areas of the body so that both internal physical and mental healing can take place. Susan believes in finding each students individual gifts and talents and helps each student in a joyful way to reach their full potential.
Jeff is the Director of the SLC Shambhala meditation group; a graduate of Sacred World Assembly and been a student of Shambhala since 2007. Jeff started the Park City Shambhala Group and also leads the Salt Lake City Shambhala Meditation Group on Wednesdays. A large part Jeff’s focus on the Shambhala path is related to the Shambhala Arts — specifically photography and poetry.
Maggie is an Ayurvedic Practitioner in Park City, UT. In 2004, she established Ananda Ayurveda LLC, a wellness organization devoted to providing thoughtful alternatives to our daily habitual living patterns, relieving chronic health imbalances and promoting optimal health and wellbeing. Patients come in for consultations, herbal formulations or personal cleanses as appropriate for them.
Holding a Master’s degree in Ayurveda, and a Bachelor’s degree in biology, Maggie first studied yoga with Yogi Lapatraj Sharma, in California for ten years as a young woman. She went on studying and practicing with Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati, Pattabi Jois and Mukunda Stiles and formally at the California College of Ayurveda and the Hindu University of America. Her undergraduate biology degree is from Carleton College, Northfield, MN.
Maggie's specialty yoga classes include therapeutic yoga for spinal openings, gentle, restorative and soft vinyasa flow classes. She also teaches Park City Yoga Studio's Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy Teacher Training as part of the California Colleg of Ayurveda curriculum.
Melissa began practicing yoga in the late 90's while she worked as a flight attendant. In 2008 her love for asana and it's benefits was ignited while she was training for the Honolulu Marathon. She took a gentle yoga class to receive the physical benefits of a "good stretch" and left realizing the mental benefits-feelings of peace, centeredness and calm- which would draw her back to her mat for more. Melissa's energetic, upbeat spirit and strong physical vinyasa practice encourages her students to try new postures, while emphasizing the importance of breath linked to movement.
An Argentinean that ended far away to fall in love with the mountains and the snow. She dove into the world of yoga 10 years ago, since then her practice was on and off until she moved to Park City, looking for a life connected with nature, outdoor activities and more Yoga! That's how she ended at The Integrated School of Yoga, that teaches the Purna Yoga Method. Purna means to "integrate or combine", were in 2010 she became an International Yoga Teacher and can teach seven diferent styles of Yoga (Yoga Integral, Traditional Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Artistic Yoga, Zen Yoga and Maha Kundalini Yoga ). Also trained in Yoga Therapy and 3 Levels of Reiki.
As she keeps on walking thru life and learns about the beauty of breathing, meditating, letting go, receiving and giving; wanting to keep on growing in this path as a teacher and sharing her passion to yoga.
Heather has been in the fitness industry over 16 years. She studied biomechanics at The Cooper Institute and has a great understanding of postural alignment. Her desire to combine the whole person led her to study and teach the martial arts. Then onto yoga, where she studied many years under Swami Jiyananda at The Institute for Personal Development. Along her journey she honed her skills at Kripalu and trained with Richard Freeman, Baron Baptiste, Erinn Burch and Rod Stryker. She now brings the gifts of her studies to her students. Her teaching approach embraces the person holistically, while focusing on health, integrity and accountability. She is highly motivated to use these skills to guide students to their most optimum level of health and well-being.
The lure of the mountains drew Stephanie to Utah 16 years ago where she has practiced under numerous accomplished teachers and been trained in various methods including Anusara and Power Yoga. She enjoys helping her students to safely go deeper both physically and mentally. Students can expect to tap into their creativity and strength to find new levels in their practice. Helping students find beauty and ease in each pose and positive energy to take with them off the mat is her ambition for each practice.
Sam Zilvitis, RYT, CPT, AYT
Sam is a Certified Yoga Teacher, Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist. Sam began her teaching journey with the Sambhåva Yoga School. Sam has completed over 500 hours of teacher training, including 200 hours of Anusara Yoga Teacher Training. In addition to teaching private and group yoga, Sam works with a variety of clients as a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Her training in postural alignment therapy in the Egoscue Method® and corrective exercise gives her additional insight into pain management and sport injuries. The depth and breadth of Sam’s experience both on and off the mat make her teaching uplifting and full of joy.
Sam’s classes celebrate the flow of life and the Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness. Sam considers herself a perpetual student and is constantly awed by the transformational power of yoga. With gratitude to all her teachers, Sam is committed to sharing the joy, peace, and beauty of yoga and life.
